Artist Statement

Looking past the obvious, close observation and engagement of the subject is my process. The challenge is to see beyond the distraction of the conspicuous to capture its unique self. Some of my subjects are quite beautiful, others no so much. Each creation of a single image go to different process of creativity, technics and approach on capturing, knowing in my mind how is going to be the end result as I take it. There are some photographs that I take a lot of time to take them analyzing , light, colors, textures and gesture. Others I take so fast as the action takes place. What I like is the different scenarios that photography can put you and the ability to resolve a problem fast capturing the perfect image at the right time. Still getting amaze of the magic of photography that I can show you through my lenses what I’m seeing with my eyes and sometimes what I see in my mind. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, to discover beauty in unusual places. I love what I do and travel photography have been the way to explore this beautiful planet that we call home.
